I had been driving by this amazing scene off and on for a couple of years before I finally took the time to stop and get a picture. I’d always noticed the White Rabbit first, and then the Wolf and RiddingHood. I’d never noticed the old faded Goodyear shadow until I actually stopped and took a picture.
The first four people I showed the image to noticed the faded shadow of a Goodyear sign the moment they saw it. These friends only noticed the fairy tale squares after I pointed them out. I find this to be the most curious thing. What makes us notice things so much differently, or similarly depending upon the end of the spectrum?
