1183 The Tower

1183 A Tower

I absolutely love this image. The windows all seemed to be trimmed in the color of oxidized copper. The brick itself resembles the color of an old penny. The purple hue to the sky and the maroon cloud above the American flag. And doesn’t the tower look haunted? Simply gorgeous.

The beagle and I watched Cujo together this afternoon. King classics are always a great way to waste a bit of an afternoon. Which King classic is your favorite? If you tell me yours, I’ll tell you mine.

    • I don’t believe I’ve read or views either of those yet. I’m reading It for the first time. I am fascinated with how well the story is written. I am on an active mission to consume much more King. Right now, Secret Window is a favorite story and movie. I love Green Mile, but I have not read the book. I also loved the book and movie Shawshank Redemption. An odd favorite of mine would have to be Apt Pupil. The short story was insane. It got way under my skin, and left my skin crawling for a while. We found a DVD collection in the five dollar bin at Walmart a few weeks back. It contained the movie based on the short story. Watching it was even more intense. They toned down the ending a bit. I can’t exactly blame them for that. Both depiction were eye opening and disturbing. Thanks so much for sharing your favorites. I’m going to have to find a copy of Tommyknockers. You have piqued my intrigue for sure.
